GDI lawyers have acted in numerous international arbitration proceedings, under ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC and ad hoc rules. They have also led numerous annulment and enforcement proceedings. The more than 70 international investment arbitrations litigated by the members of its team in defense of States confirm that GDI is the most experienced firm in the field.
GDI’s team is not only committed to defending States in international investment arbitrations, but also to preventing the emergence of such disputes. To this end, it has developed the first «Professional Training Program for State Attorneys in International Investment Arbitration», which works in coordination with the different offices of the State.
GDI actively participates in advising States in the drafting, negotiation and renegotiation of international treaties, as well as national laws on foreign investment, arbitration and international dispute prevention. GDI also advises companies and individuals in the drafting and negotiation of international contracts.
