The current and future suitability zones for cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) and coffee (Coffea arabica L.) crops were evaluated under climate change scenarios in the Soconusco region, Chiapas, Mexico, and the areas where land suitability increased or decreased were defined. This provides information to recommend its management and conservation. Two methodologies were used: weighting of factors and limiting factors; both based on the optimum and extreme tolerance values of each crop for each edaphoclimatic requirement. With the first, the potential areas for crop establishment were determined; with the second, the combinations of environmental variables that took place within the study area were differentiated. Climate change scenarios were evaluated and the distribution and areas of suitability were determined. In addition, a comparison was made between current and future suitability of both crops to quantify the impact of climate change. The results indicate that the future suitability of the land will have a decrease in the potential areas for the establishment of both crops of between 4.5 and 4.8% for coffee and 7.2 to 9.3% for cocoa.

Se presenta nueva información para los murciélagos y sus insectos ectoparásitos de la Ecorregión de Campos y Malezas de Argentina. Se recolectaron murciélagos de las familias Molossidae, Phyllostomidae y Vespertilionidae que contienen ectoparásitos pertenecientes a las familias Polyctenidae (Hemiptera), Nycteribiidae y Streblidae (Diptera). Aquí se presenta el primer registro de Hesperoctenes cartus Jordan, 1922 para Argentina. Basilia plaumanni Scott, 1940 y H. vicinus Jordan, 1922 se agregan a la provincia de Misiones y Paratrichobius longicrus (Miranda Ribeiro, 1907) se agrega a la provincia de Corrientes. Además, se amplían las distribuciones de algunos insectos ectoparásitos y se reportan nuevas asociaciones huésped-ectoparásito.
